Don't know if this will help or not, but here goes:

fastest way is to shut down charting, 
then server, 
then data receiver, 
then power up data receiver, 
then restart server and 
go to file-delete-
check daily and intraday-start date 06/16/2000 for both, end date same
as 
shown-add all-ok 
and the server processes all the records. 
when done in a minute or so, start charting

sure you delete a bunch of data, but hell man, it's all hosed anyway
except 
for the few globex ticks past midnight. and it sure beats deleting ticks 
one at a time per symbol  :))
