After being on this list for years, and on subscribing to other list for
years it is my thought that we are better off keeping the list with Jim.
Downloading huge attachments is a pain for those that have no interest in
seeing the those screen shots. A better solution would be to provide a FTP
site that allows uploads that is protected by a password that all
subscribers are informed of.
That way our privacy is protected, those that don't have the time to read
or download the attachments are avoided the pain of doing so.
An alternate solution that some of my trading buddies are using is to use
the 300 megs of hard disk space that is offered by www.myspace.com to
upload/download files, images, programs. Perhaps Jim O can set up something
similar for omega listers.
An alternate virtual hard disk space is offered by www.freedrive.com
although they only offer 50 megs of free space.
