I've purchased all thirteen STAD volumes. They are directed primarily at
people who are novice or intermediate EasyLanguage programmers who want to
learn how to write trading systems and indicators using EasyLanguage. Each
volume contains several trading systems with all of the EL code with
step-by-step explanations of what the code is doing. Starting as a
non-programmer, I have learned how to write indicators and trading systems
by following the examples in each volume. If you want to see the code for
various exits, there are a few in each volume. If you want to see an
example of some specific programming technique, such as an array (something
I'm currently struggling with) there are examples in STAD.
Omega hosts the STAD Forum on its website, moderated by Tom Bierovic.
Purchasers can submit questions and comments about the systems and there are
posts about a wide variety of topics, including curvefitting and money
management.
I have found STAD very valuable.
At the Omega World conference in NYC, I noticed a CD being offered for sale
by Omega that contains the contents of the first thirteen volumes.
