CSI -> Metastock Data Conversion

Hi everyone!
    Still attempting to get my CSI data (from Genesis Data) converted to
Metastock format.  Several have recommended "The Downloader" from Equis
for use with MetaStock.  Have duly downloaded and attempted conversion
of by CSI data with this program.  However it fails to convert any of
the CSI files I have.

I get:
"Warning #2052: No data from source file converted
"Error #2058: Unable to open file"

<or this one>

"Error #2106: Missing/invalad DATE. Record will not be stored."

I know the data is fine because is shows up fine in Genesis NavWin
program, and TradeStation can read it just fine. Is there something else
I need to know?  Since this is TGIF, I may be just particular dense
today!
