I recently bought the Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL Router for about $160.  It
serves as a router for your high speed internet connection, a firewall, and
a network hub for 4 computers and is expandable.  I have it hooked up with a
couple of pcs as a network to date -- that part works great.  My DSL
connection is set for tomorrow -- hence I cannot comment personally on the
internet workings.  I do know people who are using it successfully.
