Doug Deming has written code to overcome two of TS2k1's deficiencies which
are pet peeves of mine.
1. He has produced an Alert Once code addition
which limits, within an intraday bar, the number
of alerts to one. This prevents the sometimes
barrage of alerts that is quite distracting. I've
experienced the situation where so many alerts
were being produced by several charts at the same
time that the only way to disable them was by
closing down TS.
2. Intraday bars are now dynamic. With a code
addition, you can now have, within any intraday bar,
a ShowMe or PaintBar that appears when your
conditions are met, but "unpaints" when the
condition is no longer true. This provides r/t and
historical accuracy of visual signals.
These enhancements can be combined if desired.
