TC2000 lives in a world of its own -- Proprietary database that is updated
via their servers -- either Internet or free 800 number (very clean
data). Shortest bar is daily -- also 2-day, 3-day, week, month, etc. Can
be updated during the trading day with delayed data. You can export data
in ascii format & MetaStock.
About a dozen basic indicators. Many ways to set-up sorts, scans, screens,
watch-lists, etc. The program is a bit clunky and only has U.S. Stocks,
indices and some proprietary indices and indicators.
A couple of their popular indicators (Time Segmented Volume, Balance Of
Power, et al.) are proprietary and they won't even hint as to how they are
derived. No discussion list that I've been able to find -- basically a
dictatorship led by their guru who comments daily on his market
observations and favorite charts-- and has probably been trading in the
markets since Attila-the-Hun or possibly a bit earlier...
