Yes and no. We should distinguish between Cable Vertical Blanking
interval data and Cable modem for Internet connections. For example
BMI "cable" is sent via the VBI on the television signal at about 19.6
KB. E-Signal is sent via the internet, some are able to receive this
with a "cable" modem at about 400 KB.
