Screen flipping - hasn't happened to me.
If the download takes too long I would suggest that you call up OMEGA and
request the Service Pack on CD - they will send it free of charge. If the
release is too new, they won't have it yet, so you are stuck with the
download.
SP3 has been out for a while.
