RE: Dynastore/Quote.com

Peter,

I was once an enthusiastic proponent of the Dynastore/Quote.com combo, but
lately Quote.com has not been living up to their side of the equation.

When it works, its an excellent combination, giving you decent feed plus a
back up server-fed on demand charting system, all for 79$ a month.

Without going into the litany of issues right now, Quote.com is less than
reliable for quotes and in particular in fast market conditions on the
ES/SP/NQ/ND you can sometimes see quotes lag the market 5-12 seconds.

Having said that, Quote.com is apparently changing their feed mechanism from
SP Comstock which should eliminate this problem. Also, until this last two
weeks I have had very reliable service from the combo.

Dynastore basically makes Quote.com appear like DBC Datamanager, this making
the hook up quite transparent to Global Server. Dynastore the program, plus
the people behind it, has been great to work with and I hope for their sake
that the issues get cleaned up at Quote.com soon.

Best regards,
Michael

I'm considering switching from BMI to Dynastorelight/Quote.com on my TS
4.0.

Anyone familiar with this option?

How's the speed for intraday data?
How about the reliability?

Thanks.
