Well, here is what I ended up doing. The new drive was unformatted and I
wanted a clean install of w2000 anyway so I disconnected the original drive.
Then I booted off the W2000 CD having put it in the cd drawer before
powering down. Normal boot sequence is floppy, cd, HD. The windows CD will
format a new drive and since I wanted to keep fat32 compatibility for now
that was the choice. The entire thing will now do a dual boot with w98 or
w2000. It will communicate over the Linksys lan with a second computer.
Dual monitors work. The only think I don't have yet are the W2k drivers for
the TurboExpress920. Then when the new PS2000 w2000 version comes out I'll
install that on the w2000 drive.
