I've been having a problem for one week (yes, 7 days) trying to get data to
load into Global Server. So far I've deleted the PDS folder, gsqf files and
the symbol list and symbol swap file as per tech support (several times).
I've done a clean install three times (after scouring program from registry
and everywhere I could find), flashed my bios, disabled everything from my
start menu, run system file checker (3 times), run ScanDisk & Disk Defrag,
called Dell and STILL can't get any data in. It was working last Friday.
But, when I tried to load some continuous contracts and indexes on Saturday
distribution failed and was the beginning of this problem. I've been unable
to use TS since then (now I have NO DATA whatsoever in it).
Any help would be appreciated. As is, when I try to d/l from
Historybank.com the download completes but nothing shows up in Global
Server, there is NO data. My only option after this will be to format my
hard drive, something I don't want to do. Before I take this drastic
measure I'm hoping someone had this very same problem, resolved it
successfully and will share that much hoped for information with me.
