I'm not so sure about this.....
Montgomery Funds has a fund called the "Global Long/Short fund" which has
done quite well.....I remember reading a Barrons article a while ago...they
do go short.
Other funds such as BEARX go short thru PUT options......check out their
miserable performance recently. Lesson: PUTS are EXPENSIVE.
