Without knowing your systems this fix relates to BMI cable and a disapearing
mouse cursor.  If by chance you have Win NT when booting your system your
cable box SHOULD be unpluged as it will conflict with the serial port COM1
that the mouse occupies.  Once you get a desktop screen you then can plug
your cable box in.  This will also clear any Radar Screen crashes you might
have had.  Also, on a daily basis defrag, as TradeStation fragments files

Yes, I see the same problem when I optimize a system in TS2000.  I use a
Microsoft USB wheel intelligent mouse.  I thought the problem might be using
a "nonstandard" mouse.
