i agree with om's discussion on preception, something that hardline coders 
like bm or mb blow off as unimportant...whatever, to each his own....fuzzy 
may help in the preception problem if the coder's good enough. but i've 
found that the best coders do not necessarily make the best traders

and i agree with your statement below that some of the "stuff" used in trading 
are not worth the trouble to program. rather than trying to code using a 
hammer to drive a nail into a piece of wood, it's easier to just do it!!!
