Comstock satellite service has an Ethernet link from the Sat receiver to a
dedicated box called a CSP. The CSP then connects to the host system via
another Ethernet link. Thus, a serial port isn't used and there's no
foreseeable practical limitation on getting data to the host system (which
can be a single machine or a network).

Lawrence Chan (a scholar and a gentleman who was very helpful in helping me
get my Comstock system up) has referred previously to the capabilities of
this system.
