Re: Which holds best promise?

Hi Don,

Thank you for your response. It's very much appreciated. I really wasn't
trying to do anything other than get a discussion going on something besides
Entries or TS2k issues.

I used to be a 1-lot S&P scalper always playing with indicators and looking
for the ideal 'system'. But I got so frustrated with my inconsistent
results that one day I threw them all out the window and just started
watching price. Eventually I started noticing certain tendencies/patterns
etc. This did result in improved performance and gave me a better idea of
what I was doing, but I will still just a 1-lot S&P scalper that was
inconsistent - just a little less frustrated.

Then I met my mentor and he taught me about money and trade management,
adapting to the conditions, trading without an opinion or bias, etc., and
that is what really turned my trading around and transformed me into a
trader from just a scalper. Needless to say I am deeply indebted to him and
am very happy with my trading now - although I still have a lot to learn.

Having been through this process and made every mistake imaginable (at least
once) it is easy for me to relate to others going through the same process.
It is also easy for me to see. Hopefully these threads will get just a few
others thinking about ways to improve their results beyond the latest
indicator or system.

Thanks again,

BOB
