Hi Jim,

Perhaps I am misunderstanding the question, but if you are looking to find
the number of ticks received for a symbol for any given day, this is quite
easy.  For TS4 all you have to do is select the particular symbol in the
Server and then select Edit Tick data.  For TS2K, just double click the
symbol in GS, set Field Resolution to "trade record 1 tick" and then select
Edit Data.  Either of these will pull up the data in chronological order and
give you a total for ticks at the bottom.
