If a program is multi-threaded and designed for concurrency, it will take
advantage of multiple processors. But even if a single program is not
multi-threaded, but is processor-intensive, the system as a whole can
benefit because NT will allow other programs including the operating
system's components (many of which are multi-threaded) to run on other
available processors. But keep in mind, this only applies to apps that are
very processor intensive, such as running a trading system optimization.

I don't get how it works with 2 processors. Wouldn't you need to run
programs specifically designed to use it? Hard to figure this new fangled
dad burn technology. <g>
