FYI -
A few days ago, I installed TS 4, Build 27.
Charting has crashed around mid-day each day since I installed. I have
been using TS 4 since Build 21 (or was it 23?), which *never* crashed on
me.
Here is my configuration:
Dell Pentium III, Dual Processors 550 MHz
512 MB RAM
18 GB Hard Disk, 3 GB free
I trade intra-day stocks, BMI Cable is my data provider. I have a
*very* large tick file (1.6 GB) and portfolio (ALL NYSE and AMEX stock,
as well as CME). I keep tick data for 120 days. ...Obviously, I am
stressing TS quite a bit, particularly for a Win3.1/16-bit application.
Nonetheless, as I said, rock solid, up until I applied the Y2K patches.
Anyone have similar problems? I am wondering if I can "downgrade" back
to build 24? (I only had Build 24 installed for a few days before
upgrading further to Build
27. Perhaps Build 24 is more stable?)
