I have a problem with my portfolio. I recently wiped my NT system
clean, reinstalled NT from scratch (and wasn't THAT a picnic), and
installed a fresh copy of TS4 b21 -> b24 -> b27. I'd been having
some nasty problems with TS4 (unable to add new symbols to the
portfolio, couldn't run the Y2K patches, etc) and I wasn't able to
find the source of the problem, so I wanted to start from scratch
with a fresh install.
So among other things I had to recreate my portfolio. But TS will
only let me create futures contracts with 2000 or newer expiration --
and Paste In will only paste symbols that already exist in the
portfolio.
I don't remember this being a problem when I created/pasted new
symbols in TS4b21, but it seems to be a problem now.
How can I create old symbols in my portfolio, or how can I paste in
symbols that aren't already in the portfolio??
