TS4->TS2k data transfer problem

I have been running TS2k with data transferred from TS4, not in real time. 
In some transfers, I get a TS2k error message stating the date is out of
order. As a result, the ticks for that day do not appear in the TS2k
server data base.  

The effect in TS2k seems to be that the ticks for that day are ignored in
tick plots, but *not* in time(minutes) plots. How does TS2k get the
correct *minute* data when the ticks do not appear in the data base? 

TS4 shows all the data, and all the plots work OK in TS4. 

Specific example: for SP Z9, the data for 7/27/99 is missing in tick
plots, but is there for minute charts. This part of the data is from
JimO's rollover data. 

I get the date error msg in several other contracts as well, but have
checked only the S&P so far. 

Any ideas on why this happens or how to fix it? Sure messes up charts and
testing :-(.
