I don't own TS5 so I can't help, but I think that Brian's detailed list
of conditions and actions is a good model that will allow the group to
work together to gain more knowledge about this software.
Maybe there is a software developer type out there who has a good standardized
list of information that could be used as a guide to allow all of the users
here to duplicate the problems of others. Just a thought.

Anyone seen this one?
Using SP3. Global Server hangs and TS5 Charting refuses to execute
some
menu commands after attempting to edit data on a tick chart with the
Strategy Performance Report open. You cannot drag the Strategy Perf
Menu
around on the screen. The edit data dialog never displays and while
Windows is operational and selecting menu commands is possible, some
commands (like Format > Symbol) don't work.
Steps:
1. Load GS Desktop version (offline) and then run TS from GS.
2. Minimize GlobalServer to the Widows taskbar
3. Create a tick bar chart compressed to 60 tick bars. Do this for
about
15 days.
4. Load your favorite Strategy on the chart
5. Select View > Strategy Performance Report.
6. Click the Trades tab on the Strategy Perf Report. Select Standard
display.
7. From TS Charting, select the crosshairs cursor, then position the cursor
over a bar to edit
8. Right mouse click and select Edit Data > Close...
9. Note that nothing happens. The edit data dialog appear should
have
appeared.
10. Try moving the strategy report window around. Notice how it won't
drag
even though the focus was selected.
11. Tray selecting Format > Symbol. Note how nothing happens.
The Format
> Symbol dialog should have appeared.
12. Select File > Exit from TS and Save All.
13. Bring up the GlobalServer icon on the task bar and right mouse click
on
the taskbar icon
14. Click Close
15. When Windows tells you it's not responding, click End Task button.
16. Note how the GS edit data dialog appears.
