Strange EL bug in SP3?

I have a TS4 indicator that uses the hashnums DLL, but don't have hashnums
for TS2k. I copied the indicator to TS2k, verified it, and sure enough TS
says it can't find the DLL. So far, so good.

I first tried commenting out the DLL code, but I still got the error
message. I then removed ALL the references to the DLL, including *all* the
variables used to address the DLL. I verified that these were NOT in the
code by using the EL search function for all the names, including all the
DLL references - 'Find' agreed: no references of any kind could be found
in the code. However, I *still* get the error message "can't find the
DLL", and it will still not run.

This may be new to SP3. I copied a similar indicator with SP2 and got it
to work OK by commenting out the DLL code. There seemed to be some comment
bracket problems in SP2 (still there in SP3) - EL did not think it was
removed if I had any nested comment brackets, but by commenting only with
single non-nested brackets, I did get the code to run in SP2. This
technique did not work in SP3.

Anyone notice anything like this? Any thoughts as to the error with NO DLL
references whatever in the code?
