yes and no.
yes - all software that can pump its data to Excel can use the
dynastore (?!) software to pump the data indirectly into TS4
but not TS2000i due to its use of the DBC DataMgr). From
the UMDS side, the come with program USDDE will
allow DDE link of rt quote into Excel.
but you probably will lose quite a lot of data doing it this way ...
and you have to maintain 2 database on your computer,
one from UMDS which is maintainence free, but then you have
to deal with TS4 a 16bit program ... anyhow double the
storage size requirement.
tried this path using another Excel to TS software ... because
the feed was Bloomberg in Asia and its pretty good at feeding its
data to Excel. From your e-mail address I know why you need
this already ...
result is not impressive at all, but it works!
