Gack! Brain fade. The "commentary" feature to find the date of a
particular equity bar doesn't work properly. It displays the date of
the DATA bar above the equity peak, but not the date corresponding to
the equity peak itself. Ooops.
I'll think about this and try to come up with a reasonable solution.
BTW, a few people have been confused about the way the indicator
works. It plots the closed equity for the last 200 periods (days,
weeks, trades, whatever) in the last 200 bars of the chart. The
equity value displayed by, say, the 4th "equity bar" from the end of
the chart does NOT correspond to the equity at that "data bar." The
"System Equity" indicator does that. For this indicator, the 4th
"equity bar" from the end corresponds to the equity for 4 *periods*
ago. So if the "Period" input is set to "W", that 4th "equity bar"
from the end of the chart shows the closed equity for 4 weeks ago.
Hope that clears up any confusion...
