Re: Why would anyone want to own Omega stock

Because it stands to reason that if they are so slick
at marketing their product, they are at least as slick
at marketing their stock.

I'm not a fan of big marketing. When I was a
stockbroker, I was inspired to coin "Charles' Law,"
which says, simply, "Value is inversely proportional
to hype." It will be true if (especially if) the Dow
goes to 20k.

Now that you know how I feel about marketing
(especially Omega's brand of it), I must say that I
think their product is excellent (at least it was way
before the marketing blitz and stock offering) -- it
enabled me to do things I could only dream about. I
believe they are the pioneer in making 'trading
engines' wide open and accessible to the tweeker/
trader.

Yours,

the other Charles Wright
