Tick data for stocks wanted

I'm trying to find some tick data for a friend who is working on intraday
systems for stocks.  He is looking for data from March 1999 and earlier,
preferably 6 months to one year(he already has March 99 to present).
Ideally the format would be Metastock RT but I could convert TS 4 data  to
ASCII, and then with Quote Butler to Metastock.

The preferred stock symbols would be active stocks such as MSFT, INTC,
SUNW, WCOM, DELL, LU,
IBM.
