There is some esoteric way of using a certain type of corporation or
limited-partnership to trade almost anything inside an IRA --  Since the
actual trading is done under the entity outside the IRA but the income/loss
flows to the IRA, it's technically "legal".  
       
You would probably need to find a cutting-edge CPA (oxymoron?) or preferably
a good tax accountant to guide you through the jungle.  
         
Might be worth asking Ted Tesser for a reference since he seems to be up on
some of the newer strategies.
