If you want to crash a LOT, its a fun exercise  to try to run TS2000 on Win
98. After a couple of weeks of crashing a dozen or so times a trading
session, with no means of recovery other than to reboot, it becomes readily
apparent that Win NT is the way to go, for anyone who wants to really use
TS2000. NT manages the components of TS2000 far more efficiently than WIN98.
WIN98 is a hobbyist OS and is basically the girlyman version of NT , so if
you are going to even attempt to use TS2000 on a real time basis for
daytrading, you better get NT, or be willing to waste a lot of time and
possibly money screwing around with Win98.
