Charlie and others,
DynastoreLight is designed to accept feeds from a number of vendors and
interface them to TS an MS. In TS4 this is done by going out one serial
port and into another which appears as a Signal box. In TS2K and MS Pro,
it's done by emulating the DBC data manager. The Quote.com version of this
is under developement. When it's ready, I will be the US distributor for
it. It will not use DDE from QC but will use the QC API, thus being very
efficient.
Having said that, I should note that this firm is in the Ukraine and that
the primary developer was in an auto accident a few weeks ago. I received
word that he was out of the hospital but have not been able to contact him
in the last few weeks. Therefore, I don't know when or if this product will
be released for production. I have a beta copy that is working well except
for a problem with delayed QC data and few human interface issues. (No, I
can't send it to anyone.) I hope that we have a production version soon.
I won't clutter this forum with promotion but will post a simple message
when it's finally ready for prime time. Anyone interested can send me email
and I will add your name to a list to be notified when its ready.

Subject: quote.com into TS4.0?
Any software available for quote.com feeds into TS4.0?
I see dynaLite http://www.freeyellow.com/members6/dynastorelight/ is working
toward it but does not seem to be avail? They somehow emulate a serial port
feed and appear to TS4 as a BMI cable feed or something similar.
Any Others?
THks Charlie
