hmmmmmm..... i checked it out. i plotted a bunch of charts with both
ascii and server data. sometimes the dialog box would accept 8 digits
and sometimes only 7. but the boxes that would only accept 7 would
accept mm/dd/yy dates and plot correctly, even when i entered 12/31/05
as the last date. sometimes a box that only accepted 7 initially would
accept 8 later. but, with a little trial and error, i was always able to
get the data to plot.
so, it's kludgey but it works. sometimes the dialog boxes want
mm/dd/yyyy dates and sometimes they want mm/dd/yy. go figure.
my advice, try mm/dd/yy first and, if that doesn't work, try mm/dd/yyyy.
