Everyone seems to be using this issue to support their own agendas and
missing the point.
1) The points for traders: A) This was all apparently caused by stress over
financial concerns and / or the desire to acquire fast easy money, B) he
blamed others for his loses and did not take personal responsibility for his
actions and C) he was over leveraged and poorly prepared as a trader. Even on
this list you see people blaming brokers and the markets for their loses.
This guy just took it to another level.
2) The guy was a freaking nut. He bludgeoned his kids and his wife with a
hammer (so as not to hurt them). He probably sliced up his previous wife and
her mother with a knife. Guns had nothing to do with those five murders, nor
could they have prevented them. He killed them in their sleep.
