TS4 has a simple way to draw channel lines, so I'd be surprised if 2000i
didn't have the same feature:

Draw the primary trendline and then select the "Active Trendline Modifier"
icon, and choose "Add a parallel drawing object". Now move that trendline to
the other side of the channel, et voila!
