The same problem existed with TS4 too.
That's why you've got to go to :
File\Desktop options\ and check "Do not open any workspaces" on startup.
Then when you have a corrupted workspace that crashes your PC, you will
easily delete it before reopening TSY2K.
And also you have learnt that you have to backup all you workspaces before
one gets unfortunately corrupted.
