I too have been wondering about the value of Radar Screen, and like you, I
believe it to be Marketing.
As far as I can tell, RadarScreen is a glorified QuoteMonitor. That is,
programatically, "all" it allows one to do is run "complex" easy language in
a QuoteMonitor. This is worth it to me, I just haven't assigned a dollar
value to it yet.
Just as an aside, assuming you can program (e.g., Visual Basic for
applications,) you could probably duplicate much of what you want by sending
the feed to Microsoft Excel (Signal Online comes with a simple example of
this) and setting your alerts there - a little more work, but a lot cheaper
if you already own Excel.
