One minor quibble with Larry's otherwise very good point: after 20
(or so, I forget) BINARY digits, the rest will be all zeroes in a
BINARY representation. But when you convert the binary to decimal,
you'll get non-zero digits after 6+1 digits. This fools many people
into thinking the single can represent more than 6+1 digits.
