I am running TS2K build 263 on an AMD 300 with 192meg Ram, BMI Satelite.
Collecting 60,000+ symbols, everything runs fine, albeit slowly. Opening
too many windows, especially Large Radar Screens or Option Station, will
overwhelm the CPU. I am able to run three or four workspaces with a total
of 20 - 30 charts with no problems other than speed. I have not had a crash
for over a month and all upgrades have installed seamlessly.
Watching the Global Server quote cache, everything keeps up, unless I ask
the program to do something unusual, but reasonable.
I really like TS4 for its speed and Build 23 seems fine.
TS2K, with all its toys and promised capacity would be great with a 100x
performance increase. As it is, even running quite well, I am sticking with
TS4, for now.
