yes the code you write for TraderWare is truly portable and can be used in a
wide variety of other programs like excel and word ect. TraderWare uses VB
and if you program VB code in interpretive mode - you may then copy and
paste and compile that same code without modification. I know of no other
analysis package that can make that claim.
