YES! In fact get this you can chart IBM or Dell or something as a single
item like a one minute chart. Then you can apply a system to that chart
that is for the SP 500 hourly that is filtered down to the 15 minute that is
filtered down to the minute or even one tick and have it plot the buy and
sell arrows on IBM or Dell. So we are totally chart independent! This will
open up a whole world of ideas and possibilities for bright minds.
and how would one convert an EL coded system to work with Traderware
language? Would you provide a conversion facility?
Could we make a pig fly? Yes I could, in the past years I have done many
near impossible things but converting EL to VB may not be one I am willing
to do. I know from a marketing stand point yea yea I hear ya! Can't we
let the go of bad habits? This is a new age for technical analysis and true
scientific study of the markets. Any language less than a full fledged
programming language is inadequate period! Even if I convert your code
the stuff wont work the same unless I figure out how to round off everything
to get the same type of inaccuracies EL produces.
