This is the first time I hear of this "feature" (I am running TS 4.21). Are
you sure that you lose ticks when not running NM?
I have not run NM for some time since it renamed some of my symbols (from
SP9H to SPH99 etc.). I also understood that NM would delete any year 2000
symbols, thus I was waiting for the Y2K patch before I run NM. (I am
hopelessly optimistic).
