Re[2]: ASCII templates in TS2000i

The template feature is designed to save templates that one would use
recurrently to write a signal or indicator. If you save an indicator or signal
as a template it is not verified. If you open an indicator from a saved template
you can then verify it. And you will have the indicator. A word of caution, when
you open a template it is written to a blank page via the clipboard. In other
words if you open a template, it will delete what ever is on the clipboard, so
don't copy or cut something to the clip board and then open a template, and try
to paste into it as it will paste in the template again.

The templates provided in TS2000allow to store allof your indicators,
signal, paintbars and function in plain ASCII.
This what you were asking for if I remember.

Thanks for your reply to my earlier note. A few did reply then, some
privately, and gave the same info.

Some parts were not answered, though. Are you free to choose any file
name, or are you stuck with the TS name? Can these be read back into TS
and used instead of the TS coded (.ela) files?

Thanks,
Larry
