EasyLanguage Book

A few days ago I received a new book by Sam Tennis, "Ask Mr. EasyLanguage".
Being EasyLanguage impaired, I ordered the book as soon as I heard about
it. My initial impresseion is that this is a terrific book for beginning
to intermediate TS owners, and probably has something to offer more
advanced coders. It covers some of the basics that are in the Omega
material, but goes much farther with lots of examples, solutions to common
problems and programming tips. There is a substantial section of
templates, user functions and other code. I like the style and teaching
approach taken by the book better than another third-party EasyLanguage
book I own. It runs over 230 pages.

Being a novice programmer, I would have liked a few more comments imbedded
in the code, but I guess Sam wants to force me to think. Also, the book
would benefit from a disk containing some of the lengthier programs. Sam
hints in the book that this will be forthcoming.

I picked mine up at Traders Press (800-927-8222 or www.traderspress.com).

Highly recommended.
