Dear Jim,
It was actually a server problem on our end and I apologize for any
inconvenience, the server appeared that it was running but in reality it was
not. It did not have problems until 10 minutes before the close of the
market about the time that you mentioned. I monitor the servers pretty
closely normally and also we have a feature in place that if it stops
running it will email us.
One way you can tell if the server is having some issues possibly is to look
into ETIX or the hyperfeed symbol next to your computer time and go to the
monitor tab. You will probably see multiple "creating new session"
messages, this can only be one of two things. Your ISP is having problems
or we are having problems, what that message means is that ETIX has lost
it's connection for some reason and is trying to reestablish it. It will
keep trying until it gets a feed back in again.

Frank, at 2:50 CST the PC Quotes hyperfeed for Omega was working
according to them. My internet service was working, because I turned PC
Quotes 6.0 on to see if it was down. The packets were coming in to
pcqetix at a rate of one packet every 20 seconds. Usually they come in
every second or less in blocks like 10, 20, 16, 9, 21 etc. At 3:07 the
feed started again. This is what is shown in the tick file in the
global server and what I saw. This has happened at least once before.
The feed goes off and on during the day, but the last two times I called
PC Quotes and it was running. They told me they had a problem about an
hour and a half before the close, but I didn't even see it and I watch
is like a hawk all day.
What do you suppose it is?
I have stay on PC Quotes in the morning, I have a position, but I think
I will try DTN on Wednesday morning.
