I think for the vast majority of people, any loss due to broker carelessness
would be outweighed by their lack of discipline. And besides, the good
system brokers stand behind their service. If they miss a trade, they stand
behind it.
While my broker doesn't run TradeStation systems for me at this time, he has
at times in the past (both EOD and short term) with very good results. If
my situation warranted it, I would readily do it again. The biggest problem
I encountered was in synchronizing signals on intraday systems between his
datafeed and mine. If someone is seriously interested in system brokers,
please email me privately and I will give you a referral.
