Off-Topic: Mouse Pointer Problems

Folks:

I have been experiencing a nagging small problem with my
mouse pointer: My working [non-server] machine is a DELL 200
mghz Pentium Pro with 128 meg of ram. When I have been using
it for some heavy applications [heavy=excessive ram usage]
like three or four very large excel spreadsheets and perhaps
TS v4 offline and Netscape 4.5, suddenly my mouse pointer
will be 'offset,' meaning the area it affects is not where
it points, but is about 1/2 inch to the right of where it
points or 1/2 inch down. 

Any ideas?
