symbols at random, not all 18k symbols collected by GlobalServer) with my
broker and they all matched up. My broker uses the ADP datafeed.
ADP does not even qualify as a fifth rate data feed. They were ranked last
or near last of ALL Institutional data feeds. I personally had a ADP data
feed on my desk for two years. ADP practically has no money paying
subscribers. You the client are paying for your brokers data feed with soft
dollars provided to your broker through commissions generated. What does
all this tell me? Your broker is connected to one of the few big broker
houses that demand big commissions so their overhead can be paid by soft
dollars that are generated by over inflated commissions. ADP is one of the
sorriest data feeds in the business, and they are constantly locking up and
totally unaware of this unless someone like me (the consumer) called them.
I used ADP at two different brokerage houses and the system was consistently
bad to say the least. My contact at ADP was Kevin Shay 312-855-6086, just
so you know I am representing myself correctly when I say I have experience
