The black signal box is the old skinny FM box. I believe it only allows
9600 baud feed (sat. or FM) which is too slow for most TS users' taste.
Equatorial refers to the satellite system which worked with the system - a
brand name. My recollection is that the satellite was over the Carribean
and they only worked in North America.
