Re: SP2 posting and MB traderware security

the point is, is that there is no security online for the truly
determined hacker. what about the omega's historybank.com? didn't
someone say (on the omega faq?) that an exchange of info takes place
between omega's servers and the users hd? that concerns me more given
omega's lack of ethics and how it treats its consumers as nothing more
than chattle. how easy would it be for omega to scan a users hd during
those sessions and determine if it contained bootleg ela's or third
party software? how easy would it be for omega to disable said software
or ela's on the users computer, or disable ts2ki if someone gets too
mouthy about bugs on the omega list or in the newsgroup?

personally, i don't care about mb's beef with cruz, that's their
business. but given omega's history of stomping its customers rights,
that concerns me much much more. anytime you go online, you're at risk.
period. it doesn't matter whether it's mb, or omega, or microslouth, or
quote.com, or ......

oh yeah, there is a prosuite 2ki crack available for $100, at your
nearest vizitor hardware store :))

But why do I need to hand over the keys to my computer to "The Code" ?

MB doesn't want TS2000 either but toyed with the idea to release a
crack for it - simply because he hates the guts of Cruz - The
true spirit of a giver.
