I hope I am not cursing myself, but if I can get ts2000i to run the rest
of
the week, I'm going live Monday. 

The update problem seems to be related to messaging and alerts. Don't
use them. Just watch the little bars. Maybe I'll get a dog and train him
to bark on a signal crossover.

In a day or two I will explain how one can use this thing on a limited
basis
to actually do something.
